What a great, authentic little Italian restaurant. Despite not booking we received a warm welcome and were shown to a great table. The food was really tasty, with good portions and at a reasonable price. Service was friendly and efficient throughout and the place had a relaxing atmosphere. All in all a terrific evening.

My dinner at La Casetta was phenomenal. I had the Cozze, spicy red sauce with mussels. The pasta and sauce were perfect and the mussels were the best I’ve had in years. Plentiful and fresh! While a huge serving I followed this with a Milano pizza. If you like a hint of blue cheese this is the pie for you. Service was warm and friendly and service was very quick. If only I live closer, I would come every weekend!

My husband and I went to Whitley Bay where I grew up for my 60th birthday and our 10th wedding anniversary which is on the same day. We met up with my sister's and families and my dad and wife who all still live up North. We went to La Casetta to celebrate. The food was incredible and the service was excellent. Very friendly staff . We had a wonderful evening and I would like to thank all of the staff and the chef. Couldn't fault this restaurant.

Visited here for dinner at the weekend whilst on a trip here. Staff were all so friendly and although it was busy the food was great and you can’t complain for the prices. We had our dog with us and we were allowed to dine outside with him which was great.

The choice and quality of food was amazing, and the prices were phenomenal, particularly during the lunchtime hours and 17:00 to 18:30 there are great deals to be had. So good we visited two nights out of our 3 night stay in the Whitley Bay area. As for the Sicilian lemon cake.....omg, the best desert ever!

Ventured out of our local area to La Casetta and we're not disappointed, staff were friendly, helpful and the service was excellent. Tasteful food and it was apparent how much care they take with their meals. The interior was warm and welcoming. Will definitely return.
